Controller (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the development and monitoring of company budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections
• Conduct financial analysis and planing to support business decisions, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and adapt financial processes accordingly
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency

Your profile:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Three or more years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting or a similar role
• Familiarity with FP&A tools and standard accounting software. Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Knowledge of German accounting and tax regulations is essential. Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) is a bonus
• Full fluency in both German and English
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues from different departments
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance
• Proactive in identifying financial issues and proposing solutions to mitigate risks
