Orlando, Florida — CEO of realworld one, Pascal Stiegelmann, receives firsthand impressions from visitors of the realworld one booth at Pittcon 2018.
For Stephan Labonte, former Senior Vice President Marketing Europe of the distributor VWR, it was the first time experiencing virtual and augmented reality.
In an interview with Pascal Stiegelmann, he talks about his impressions of using VR.
He was very impressed about how easy and comfortable it was to handle. Additionally, he said, it was amazing to see how deep a user can dive into a product with this pioneering technology of realworld one.
Being able to closely inspect a product by disassembling it in virtual reality is extremely helpful for many different reasons:
It allows sales personnel to elaborate on product intricacies when pitching to potential customers, and makes it possible for new employees to be educated about the use of certain products and equipment with minimal cost and effort.
realworld one enables users to easily set up a product training anywhere they want to, an opportunity that Labonte recognizes as particularly valuable to companies in the laboratory industry.
He sees great potential for the laboratory industry to utilize VR, urging businesses to be early in adopting this steadily growing technology.
“There will always be people who are slower than others, there will always be early adopters […] I would encourage everybody to get in touch with this immediately.”
